The Digital Shop PHP script enables you to sell digital content such as software, scripts, music, photos or videos online. It is an effective solution for a digital online shop and features an easy to understand administration interface.
You need an online or regular bank account to receive payments. Online accounts like PayPal, Authorize.net or Moneybookers are similar to an online bank, you can make payments and receive payments once you have registered and your account is confirmed. They will be the intermediary between your customers and your Digital Shop. Your customers do not require an account, they can pay using a credit card. When using a regular bank account you have to monitor incoming payments on this account and process the sales manually.
A customer visits your site and purchases one or more products from your shop. Once the online payment service confirms the payment back to the shop your customer will receive an email containing a download key. With this key the customer is able to download the product from your webshop. The key automatically expires after a period of time or number of downloads. The shop works completely autonomously, once it is up and running no action is required from your end!
